About This Position
Job Category: Career Opportunities
Requisition Number: CONTR001583
Full-Time
Gainesville, FL 32608, USA
Description
Infotech® is seeking a Contracts Manager to administer, draft, review, negotiate, and manage company-wide contracts. In this role, you will provide critical support to internal stakeholders and serve as a subject matter expert in contract lifecycle management. Beyond traditional legal review, this role requires a power user capable of advanced Ironclad administration, with a primary focus on building, optimizing, and maintaining automated contract workflows. You will be an integral part of maintaining Infotech’s compliance standards while driving operational efficiency through sophisticated digital process design.
In this role, you will:
- Workflow Architecture & Optimization: Serve as the primary architect for contract automation; design, build, and iterate on complex workflows within Ironclad to streamline approvals and ensure seamless cross-departmental handoffs.
- Ironclad Administration: Act as the "Ironclad Champion" and system administrator, managing user permissions, template libraries, and integrations while ensuring the platform scales with the company’s needs.
- Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including service agreements and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle—from initiation and automated routing to execution and close-out—while maintaining meticulous digital records.
- Records Management: Maintain an organized system of digital records, serving as the lead manager of Infotech’s cloud-based contract management ecosystem.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for contracts, recommending strategies to minimize potential liabilities.
A Day in the Life as Infotech’s Contracts Manager
A typical day begins with a deep dive into the "backend" of our contract operations. While you’ll spend time reviewing and negotiating terms, a significant portion of your impact comes from optimizing the engine that drives our agreements. You might spend your morning building a new conditional logic branch in an Ironclad workflow to accommodate a new service line, or troubleshooting a bottleneck in the approval chain to keep the business moving at speed.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on everything from new service proposals to complex licensing agreements. Throughout the day, you’ll balance the "legal" with the "technical," collaborating with Finance and IT to ensure our digital contracting process is ironclad—literally and figuratively. Your role is vital in maintaining Infotech's compliance standards, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of a company that plays a crucial role in building North America's road infrastructure.
