Imagine Children’s Museum is looking for friendly, energetic people to join our team as Experience Hosts!
If you enjoy talking with families, helping children explore, and creating a fun, welcoming environment, this could be a great fit for you.
You do not need years of experience — we’re looking for someone who brings positive energy, kindness, and a willingness to learn.
As an Experience Host, you will:
- Welcome visitors and help them feel comfortable and excited to explore.
- Talk with children and adults in exhibit spaces.
- Encourage play and learning through simple prompts and ideas in exhibit spaces.
- Answer basic questions about the Museum.
- Help keep exhibits clean, organized, and ready for play.
- Support special events like evening events and programs.
- Work as part of a team to make sure every guest has a great experience.
- Respond in a positive, calm and friendly manner if a guest needs help.

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer service or experience working with children is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Willing to complete basic First Aid training.
- Available to work weekends and some evenings.
This is an active role in a lively, interactive and playful museum setting. You will spend most of your shift on your feet and interacting with guests.

- High level of public contact.
- Regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb ladders and stairs.
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds.

- Mental stamina for problem solving and dealing with stressful situations; prioritizing multiple tasks; interpreting and applying oral/written instructions.
- Ability to bend, carry, reach to the side, front and overhead, push, pull, walk, stand, twist and squat, grab, squeeze are repetitive motions required of the position.
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements including high and low temperatures, precipitation, and wind.
- Regularly exposed to moderate noise in and around exhibits.
- Occasionally exposed to small and/or enclosed spaces.
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours a week, onsite in Everett. The pay is $20 an hour. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes mid-day shifts, evenings, weekends, and special museum events as required.
