Maintenance Tech at Lawrence Health Services – Walnut Ridge, Arkansas

Job Objective/Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and safe operation of all facility systems across a rural healthcare campus that includes an Emergency Department, Clinic, Hospital, Long-Term Care facility, Specialty Clinic, Therapy Building, and Food Pantry. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and fully operational environment that supports high-quality patient care 24/7. The ideal candidate is self motivated, skilled in multiple trades, comfortable working independent, and committed to maintaining a safe and healing environment for patients, residents, staff and visitors.

Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a rural healthcare environment helpful. Must be able to read, write, and do simple math. Ability to follow verbal and written instruction and work with limited supervision.
