This position with Duininck Golf offers the opportunity to lead the planning, procurement, coordination and execution of golf construction projects delivered through General Contracting (GC), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build (DB) delivery methods. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards while managing procurement strategy, subcontractor buyout and vendor relationships. This individual serves as the primary liaison between owners, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
The Role:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all project phases from preconstruction to closeout, serving as the primary contact for owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, while fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented project environment.
- Procurement and Buyout: Oversee procurement strategies, prepare bid packages, lead subcontractor and supplier selection, negotiate contracts, manage buyout, maintain vendor relationships, and coordinate material delivery.
- Preconstruction and Design Coordination: Participate in conceptual budgeting, cost modeling, and schedule development; conduct constructability reviews and value-engineering; and, for CMAR and Design-Build, work with design teams, support GMP and risk analysis, and coordinate design deliverables with project goals and procurement strategy.
- Contract and Financial Management: Administer contracts, manage budgets and cost forecasts, handle change orders and savings, review financial documents, and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Schedule and Construction Oversight: Manage schedules, coordinate field operations, monitor progress, and oversee site inspections. Resolve issues and implement corrective action.
- Risk, Safety and Quality: Identify risks early and mitigate them; ensure safety compliance; uphold quality standards, oversee QA/QC processes; and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Lead OAC (Owner–Architect–Contractor) meetings and internal coordination meetings; provide clear, timely updates on project status, procurement progress, and challenges; and build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business.
Work Environment:
- Travel to variety of golf construction job sites is required.
- Working in variety of environments and elements both inside and outside.

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- 5–10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Experience with GC, CMAR, and/or Design-Build delivery methods.
- Strong background in procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency with construction management software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.
