- Build, implement, and troubleshoot integrations through APIs and file-based ingestion pipelines, ensuring reliability through monitoring, retries, and reconciliation processes.
- Create reusable implementation assets such as templates, reference architectures, documentation, validation frameworks, and repeatable starter kits for solution teams.
- Identify recurring implementation patterns and collaborate with engineering teams to transform them into scalable product capabilities.
- Translate implementation insights into clear technical specifications including requirements, architecture recommendations, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts using SQL and optionally Python to validate technical approaches and reduce engineering risks.
- Define and maintain data quality controls and regression checks to ensure long-term reliability as solutions scale.

- Solid understanding of API development and integration concepts including REST or GraphQL, authentication mechanisms, pagination, rate limiting, and error handling.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar platforms within engineering workflows.
- Ability to translate complex or ambiguous business requirements into robust technical solutions and validate outcomes end-to-end.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain architecture decisions and tradeoffs across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working with complex regulatory or rules-heavy domains such as finance, tax, ERP systems, healthcare, or compliance-driven environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or BigQuery.
- Knowledge of data orchestration or transformation tools such as dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, Informatica, or SSIS.
- Programming experience with Python for automation, validation, or internal tooling.
- Experience with modern development workflows including Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
Benefits

- Paid time off and paid parental leave
- Comprehensive health, medical, life, and disability insurance options (may vary by location)
- Opportunities to work with modern cloud data platforms and AI-assisted development tools
