Clinical Dietician at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a clinical dietitian to work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Our goal is to provide inpatient care that is integrated and compatible with the patient-focused medical goals and objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including completion of the nutrition assessment, developing and implementing nutrition intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating of the patient’s progress. The Clinical dietitian conducts screenings and assessments and may supervise the work of the certified dietary manager and student dietitians. This person utilizes screening tools to effectively establish medical nutrition therapy accordingly.

Candidate must be a registered dietitian and hold an active license in the state of Louisiana or be board eligible.

The position will require Monday through Friday with weekends as assigned. A general hospital orientation will be provided and a specific unit orientation will be based on your experience and level of comfort.
