About This Position

Position Overview

Behavioral Balance ABA is seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to support the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and individualized ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BCaBA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and play a key role in treatment implementation, data analysis, staff support, and family collaboration.

This role is ideal for a BCaBA who is passionate about early intervention, clinical excellence, and professional growth within a supportive clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Service Delivery

  • Assist in conducting assessments and skill evaluations under BCBA supervision.
  • Support the development, implementation, and modification of individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Provide direct therapy and modeling as needed to support treatment integrity.

Supervision & Staff Support

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to RBTs and BTs under BCBA direction.
  • Model appropriate ABA techniques and ensure fidelity of treatment implementation.
  • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and skill development.
  • Communicate clinical observations and concerns to the supervising BCBA.

Family Collaboration

  • Support parent training and caregiver education sessions.
  • Communicate progress updates to families as directed by the BCBA.
  • Promote family engagement and carryover of skills across settings.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, state regulations, and payer requirements.
  • Assist with data tracking, reports, and authorization support as needed.

Clinic & Program Support

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

Qualifications

Required

  • Active BCaBA certification in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA in a clinic-based setting.

Preferred

  • Early intervention experience (ages 2–6).
  • Experience supporting or supervising RBTs.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance requirements.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
