MACHINE OPERATOR MILLING at PRECI MANUFACTURING INC – Winooski, Vermont

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC milling machines and possess a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards within a manufacturing facility.

Duties

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machine tools, including logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
• Assemble and fabricate components as required for various projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment within the factory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Mill Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating stamping presses and other related machinery is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of basic math principles for accurate measurement and calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
• Experience working in a warehouse or factory setting is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
