Marketing Intern at Shipley Energy – York, Pennsylvania

Rate: $16/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

In-Person Summer Internship

Key Projects:

• Prepare AI Foundations & Processes for Marketing/Sales to:

1. Scale location page production and build out on website, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency is maintained
2. Encapsulate Shipley Energy product and service information into markdown files
3. Create brand standard/tone of voice files for team member thought leadership

• Lead Shipley Energy's Customer Appreciation Night event in July, 2026 from coordination and planning to execution night-of and follow-up reporting after event

Requirements:

• College Student with a major in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Data Analysis, Business Administration/Operations
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
• Demonstrated proficiency in AI LLM prompting; interest/experience in building custom GPTs/Skills a plus
• Experience with automation tools a plus (such as Zapier, Relevance, Make.com)
• Versed in Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Acquire general knowledge of Shipley Energy's products and services, brands, marketing campaigns and strategy, and general operations
• Utilize AI platforms to build custom GPTs/Skills for internal use by marketing/sales teams.
• Use database & enrichment platforms (i.e. ZoomInfo, Apollo) to build target account lists that meet ideal customer profiles and load them into CRMs.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales Intern to develop materials, support field marketing efforts (booking, coordinating, preparing materials), and drive sales initiatives forward.
• Assist with on-going marketing efforts, attend events, market research, competitive analysis and other tasks
