Role: Platform Integrations Lead

FLSA: Full Time | Exempt | Salaried | Remote (US)

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Scope of Position: We are seeking a Platform Integrations Lead to build and lead a standardized, productized integrations function that connects Trustwell’s platform seamlessly into customer ecosystems.

This role owns the strategy, delivery, and operational success of scalable, reusable integrations that reduce custom engineering work, accelerate customer implementations, and deepen platform embedment. The Platform Integrations Lead will lead a contracted team responsible for designing both bespoke and platform-driven integrations using modern API architectures, middleware, and data connectivity solutions.

The ideal candidate combines technical depth, strong people leadership, and a product mindset, with a focus on measurable business outcomes, including faster deployments, reduced services burden, and increased customer retention and expansion.

This is a high-impact role critical to scaling Trustwell’s platform efficiently and enabling long-term growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but limited to:

  • Build and lead a standardized integrations function focused on reusable, scalable, and maintainable solutions
  • Define and execute the integrations strategy aligned to business growth, platform scalability, and customer adoption
  • Develop integration frameworks, templates, and patterns to eliminate one-off custom builds
  • Oversee the design and delivery of API-based, event-driven, and middleware-powered integrations
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure integrations are core platform capabilities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams to accelerate deployments through out-of-the-box integrations
  • Work with the Product Team to build an integration roadmap and prioritization based on customer demand and business impact
  • Communicate with customer technical representatives to understand integration requirements and support existing solutions
  • Establish technical standards for reliability, security, monitoring, documentation, and supportability
  • Drive measurable improvements in implementation timelines and the reduction of services effort
  • Track and report on key KPIs, including integration adoption, time-to-implement, and customer outcomes
  • Identify ecosystem partnerships and integration opportunities that expand platform value
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 7+ years of experience in systems integrations, platform engineering, or technical product delivery
  • Proven experience leading teams (both on and offshore) delivering scalable integration solutions
  • Experience working with a contracted on and offshore team members to drive delivery and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, data pipelines, and event-driven systems
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms or middleware technologies
  • Experience building standardized frameworks to replace custom engineering work
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder leadership skills
  • Data-driven approach to operational performance and continuous improvement
  • Strong architectural judgment and problem-solving capabilities

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Software Engineering, preferred
  • Experience with iPaaS and integration platforms such as Boomi, Workato, CData, or similar tools
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms into enterprise customer ecosystems (ERP, CRM, PLM, data warehouses, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and API management
  • Familiarity with event streaming and asynchronous messaging platforms
  • Experience building integration libraries, connector marketplaces, or reusable services
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation
  • Experience improving deployment timelines and reducing professional services overhead through automation
  • Strong understanding of security, data governance, and compliance in integration environments

The pay range for this role is:
120,000 - 130,000 USD per year(Raleigh)
