Histology Technologist II PRN

• Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort. Worth, TX 76104

• Work hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM as needed

Here's What You Need

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

• Associate degree preferred

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred

• One - year experience in Histopathology

• HT (ASCP) Histotechnician required within 90 days from hire

• HTL (ASCP) Histotechnologist required within 90 days from hire

What You Will Do

Follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing.

• Specimen Integrity

• Gross Room

• Frozen Section

• Test Procedures

• Microtomy

• Preparation of Slides and Stains

• Evaluate stains

• Cytology Specimens

• Reference Lab

• Laboratory Operations

• Safety
