Tool Crib Attendant Job Responsibilities:
The Tool Crib Attendant is an integral part of the team and is responsible for the ordering of, and inventorying of all tool supplies stored in the tool crib of our Wheeling location.
- Build tools from tool list provided by programming department
- Issue tools and equipment to machinists and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned
- Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using inspection tools/tool inspection equipment and report damage or wear to supervisors
- Repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment, using hand tools, spray gun, or other methods
- Maintain inventory of the Tool Crib
- Determine tooling needs and purchase tools in a proficient and cost efficient manner
Tool Crib Attendant Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Tool Crib experience preferred
- CNC Machining experience plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel
- Ability to run inventory management software
