DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity, seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join a dynamic team as a Tree Climber Foreman in the Philadelphia, PA. area. Tree Climber is a critical, skilled field role responsible for climbing operations, technical rigging, controlled tree removals, line clearance work, vegetation control, storm response, and supporting safe crew operations. Take home company vehicle with gas card, PPE provided.
Salary: $30hr - $36hr
Schedule/Base hours: M - F, 6:30am - 3:30pm (full-time + OT), weekends available

Responsibilities:
- Perform technical climbing, rigging, removals, and pruning in urban and rail-adjacent environments
- Execute tree removals, hazard mitigation, line-of-sight clearance, and trimming
- Utilize chainsaws, rigging systems, saddles, blocks, and climbing hardware
- Assist bucket truck operations, chipper feeding, and ground support
- Follow company safety standards
- Participate in all safety briefings, JHAs, and daily tailboards
- Maintain climbing gear and ensure compliance with ANSI Z133
- Assist Foreman in job planning, rigging strategies, and site setup
- Mentor grounds crew members
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant
- Complete high-risk aerial operations with precision and safety compliance
- 3+ years of professional tree climbing experience (pruning + removals)
- Mastery of climbing techniques (MRS/DRT, SRT/SRS)
- Proficiency with chainsaws, rigging systems, knots, friction devices
- Strong safety-first mindset and ability to work around high-risk environments
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required to start)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and E-Verify
- Ability to handle physical, outdoor work in all conditions
