Repair Sales Estimator
Pittsburgh, PA | Full-Time | Commission-Based (High Earning Potential)
McClellands Contracting & Roofing is growing and looking for a knowledgeable, motivated Repair Sales Estimator to join our team. This position focuses on diagnosing and selling residential repair work — roof leaks, pipe boots, soffit/fascia issues, gutters, minor siding repairs, and similar exterior problems.
If you’ve been on the roof, understand how homes are built, and are ready to move into a sales-focused role with strong income potential, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do As A Repair Sales Estimator
- Run 4–5 company-provided leads per day
- Inspect roofs and exterior components to diagnose issues
- Build scopes of work and prepare estimates (laptop provided)
- Present and close repair jobs onsite or follow up with homeowners
- Maintain consistent follow-up to close opportunities
- Work closely with repair technicians who complete the jobs
- Deliver excellent customer experience from inspection to sale
What We’re Looking For In A Repair Sales Estimator
- Strong roofing or exterior construction knowledge (required)
- Experience as a roofer, project manager, or exterior tech preferred
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and building trust
- Self-motivated with strong follow-up discipline
- Ability to manage a flexible, performance-based income structure
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
