In partnership with the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), we are seeking a highly skilled ACV Product Support/ Logistics Analyst III to provide expert logistics and sustainment support for Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.
This role will directly support the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning and Management, working alongside the Government Project Lead and subject matter expert (SME) logisticians to ensure mission readiness and long-term sustainment success.
Job Duties:
Life Cycle Sustainment & Programmatic:
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain all ACV Life Cycle Sustainment Plans and associated program documentation.
- Manage configuration control for all product support documentation.
- Support and provide logistics expertise for Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), WIPTs, and Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs).
- Analyze Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) across the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
- Review all program documents and vendor deliverables (CDRLs) for compliance with logistics statutes and standards.
Analysis, Modeling, & Forecasting:
- Conduct Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis to optimize life cycle support strategies.
- Perform Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) analysis to identify repairable item candidates.
- Develop and update strategic supply chain forecasts to optimize vehicle availability and reduce ownership costs.
- Conduct statistical demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment planning for ACV parts.
- Develop and recommend methods for gathering, cleansing, and analyzing complex data sets to support logistics models.
Operational & Maintenance Support:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support test events by developing parts lists and coordinating parts, supply, and maintenance.
- Analyze Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and recommend changes to parts lists and maintenance plans.
- Support the development of Logistics Management Information (LMI) and perform data entry into LMI databases.
- Review Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) documents and support the development of CBM+ products.
- Create and manage the Product Quality Deficiency Report (PQDR) database, overseeing the entire internal process.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Most relevant fields are: Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration (with a concentration in logistics or quantitative analysis), Industrial Engineering
Required experience:
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Life Cycle Management within a DoD acquisition program.
Demonstrated experience providing direct support to a Program Office (e.g., USMC, Army, Navy)
Preferred Experience:
- Developing and managing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) for major defense acquisition programs.
- Participating in and providing logistics input for Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) and Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs).
- Leading or significantly supporting Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) and analyzing results to drive improvements.
- Analyzing Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) across the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
- Managing configuration control for logistics documentation and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
Functional Support Areas
- Provisioning, maintenance, and overhaul planning.
- Packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation (PHS&T).
- Maintenance execution and design interface support.
- Technical publications (Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and overhaul manuals).
- Direct experience with amphibious, combat vehicle, or similar complex weapon systems.
- Proven track record of leading logistics analysis for major program milestones, including SETRs and ILAs.
- Hands-on experience with logistics modeling tools (e.g., M&S, DSOR analysis) and USMC data systems (e.g., TLCM-OST, BEAST).
