The Construction Foreman will oversee the daily labor activities to ensure alignment with project goals, safety standards, and Holder Construction requirements. They will direct construction laborers, concrete-carpenters, and cleaners; monitor productivity and work quality. The Foreman will act as the on-site point of contact for task sequencing, labor deployment, and problem-solving, ensuring adherence to all Salute and Holder processes and safety procedures while communicating progress, issues, and resources needs to project leadership as necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and direct daily activities of construction crews to ensure productivity and quality of work.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress of projects onsite.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant job site in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documentation to guide work.
- Communicate daily updates, issues, and progress reports to the Project Leadership.
- Inspect work throughout the day to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Identify potential issues and take proactive steps to resolve delays, material needs, or design conflicts.
- Ensure all work is completed according to building codes and safety standards.
- Complete daily logs, time sheets, incident reports, and other project documentation as required.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to planning and progress discussions.
- Enforce safety policies and conduct regular toolbox talks and safety inspections.
- Ensure crew members use proper PPE and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Report any safety incidents, violations, or hazards immediately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role.
- Experience leading crews of 5–20+.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and assign daily tasks to laborers and skilled trades.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and job-site safety requirements.
- Ability to safely operate and oversee use of construction equipment: Forklifts, power tools, and lifts.
- Daily reporting (manpower logs, progress updates, safety documentation).
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams e.g.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience preferred in Construction field as foreman.
- Familiarity with reading site layouts or surveys.
- Ability to operate or oversee construction equipment like forklifts, lifts, or skid steers.
- Understanding basic measurements, leveling, and site grading.
Licenses/Certifications
- OSHA-30 in construction is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
- Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
- Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
- Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
- Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
- Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The hourly rate for this role is $24.50 per hour. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
10-hour shifts, Monday-Saturday between 5AM and 5PM (shifts will vary based off season and daylight savings)
