As our Billing and Compliance Lead within the Client Success team, you will play a key role in protecting the integrity of our customer financial processes. You’ll oversee billing accuracy, compliance oversight, and chargeback or refund reviews while working closely with Accounting, Operations, and Customer Success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into details, improving processes, and ensuring fair, transparent outcomes for both customers and the business. Your work will directly support operational clarity, financial accuracy, and trust across the client experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Process Accounting team requests related to marketing joint ventures and associated financial workflows
• Conduct routine and ad hoc sales audits to verify billing accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Research, document, and dispute chargebacks by gathering supporting evidence and coordinating with internal teams
• Perform compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory expectations, and partner agreements
• Monitor and escalate potential compliance risks or concerns to leadership
• Review, validate, and process customer refund requests according to company policy and compliance standards
• Maintain clear documentation of audit findings, refund decisions, and chargeback activity
• Assist leadership with specialized customers or financial processes outside standard vendor scope
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Accounting, and Training teams to ensure alignment on billing procedures and compliance requirements
• Recommend process improvements based on audit outcomes, recurring issues, or operational insights

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 2+ years of experience in billing, compliance, accounting support, or audit-related work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial documentation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills when working across teams
• Experience working with billing platforms, CRM or ticketing systems, and spreadsheet tools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
• Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism when handling financial or compliance-related matters

IT’S GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience working in a regulated industry or performing compliance-related audits
• Prior experience researching and managing customer chargebacks
• Familiarity with SaaS, education, or subscription-based business models
• Understanding of marketing joint ventures or revenue-share structures
