2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship - Canon Financial Services (CFS)

Canon Financial Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program. The program will be held from Tuesday, June 2, 2026 - Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Canon is an innovative global digital imaging leader that uses technology to dissolve the barriers we face in the connections we build, the experiences we create, and even the lives we live. We are looking for passionate and experienced students to join the Canon USA team. This is a paid summer internship 10-week robust experience.

Canon Financial Services, Inc. (CFS) is currently located in Mount Laurel, NJ and will be relocating to Burlington, NJ during the summer of 2026.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals.
  • You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities.
  • You’ll gain marketable skills and knowledge that you’ll need in transitioning into the workforce.
  • You’ll come to the office 2 days a week and 3 days with the option to work from home (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). This position offers a hybrid work schedule on full-time (8:30 AM – 5 PM) schedule based on a 37.50-hour work week. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Who You Are:

  • An undergraduate student who is currently a junior or will be entering their senior year as of the Summer 2026, pursuing a major aligned to the department of interest.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Team player and work independently.

Your Impact

2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship - Sales Support Intern

This is a unique opportunity to join in supporting our Direct Customer Sales group. The key focus for this position is to increase repeat-leasing business by leveraging existing relationships and to on-board new dealers for future solicitation. You will utilize telemarketing and inside sales skills, calling upon CFS’ existing customer portfolio to achieve sales volume results, application activity and telephone sales objectives.

The intern will participate for the following:

  • Providing general support for our Sales Support team.
  • Learning a variety of tasks related to Canon/CFS Sales Support and Marketing
  • Developing direct customer relationships with existing customers for repeat business through use of telemarketing and inside channel sales strategies
  • Solicit new leasing business for various equipment types, offering CFS lease finance services. Work with authorized signers, owners, managers, and other customer associates to understand timing of financing needs and their decision-making process for acquiring new equipment.
  • Serving as a contributor to the development of overall marketing strategies for Direct Customer Sales
  • Use professional, creative persuasion and persistent sales outreach efforts working with customers to use CFS’s equipment leasing services.
  • Provide regular updates to management to ensure understanding of financing requirements and direct customer needs in the marketplace.
  • Process lease applications, create lease agreements, provide general sales support telephone coverage.
  • Work closely with the Sales Support team to learn best practices and provide excellent service to our dealers and customers.
  • Individually send emails and place telephone calls to select audiences to share CFS value proposition and learn those types of business activities.
  • Attend regular meetings with team members and management to coordinate and share activities, new learnings and project updates and review results.
  • Work with Marketing team and Sales Support for education purposes, learn the lease process, common questions and answers. Research questions internally with team members and provide timely responses back to dealers and customers.
  • Collaborate and interface with team members for clarification or to escalate necessary tasks swiftly and efficiently.


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

A currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree as of the Summer 2026, in a discipline aligned to the department, bringing strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive).

  • Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and gain handson experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, and finance business activities

We are providing the anticipated rate for this role $20.00 hourly.
