About the role

The Quality Control Specialist I supports core billing operations within our innovative DME care-delivery model. This role focuses on accurate claim handling, timely task execution, and clear documentation to ensure smooth revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to building strong foundational billing skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and respond to Home Health tickets or audit requests in alignment with established workflows and guidelines.
  • Process submissions with a high level of accuracy, including follow up and final review.
  • Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and escalate when deadlines may be at risk.
  • Document all actions taken to resolve problematic or complex claims clearly and consistently in the billing system.
  • Communicate proactively regarding blockers, dependencies, or issues that require leadership support.
  • Support ongoing billing operations by maintaining organized, up-to-date documentation and following established SOPs.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Who You Are

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established workflows and maintain clear documentation.
  • Effective communicator (advanced English proficiency) who asks questions, seeks clarity, and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Able to adapt to changing processes, tools, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with billing systems and general software tools; willingness to learn new platforms.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
