Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Financial Analyst II in Green Bay WI to provide in-depth analysis on a broad spectrum of operational and financial issues. The Financial Analyst II will also play a key role in the annual planning and budgeting processes and give financial support to different areas of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the operating procedures and policies of various departments and recommend improvement plans.
- Analyze department expenditures for reasonableness and recommend cost reduction opportunities.
- Develop decision support tools that can enhance departments' understanding of their cost structures and drivers.
- Prepare monthly reports and narratives.
- Participate in ongoing financial initiatives, including planning, budgeting and reporting.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting.
- MBA or CPA a plus.
- Two to four years of finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of automated financial systems, including Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills.
