What you’ll do:
The Commercial & Community Business Development Representative for SafeTouch Security is responsible for generating new business opportunities and increasing sales revenue by selling integrated security solutions within the commercial and community sectors. This role is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who can easily build relationships, quickly assess the unique needs of each client, and offer tailored, integrated security solutions.
You’ll also:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in commercial and community sectors, including construction firms, property managers, local businesses, HOAs, and condominiums.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client security requirements and recommend tailored solutions, including surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay current with security technologies and trends, providing expert guidance on system selection and implementation.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through new business and account expansion. Promote and maintain a safe work environment while achieving sales objectives.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations, demonstrating the value and ROI of proposed solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, analyze industry trends, and monitor competitor offerings to refine sales strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline progress; provide regular performance updates to management.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals while maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in business development within security, HOA management, or related commercial/community sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software (Salesforce preferred), and other industry-related applications, with the ability to quickly learn integrated security systems.
- Highly motivated and proactive in prospecting, closing deals, and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing to team success, with a strong safety-first mindset.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage (if applicable).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and other site conditions safely.
- Stand, walk, sit at a desk, and move equipment or materials up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Observe details at close range, take notes, handle products, operate technology, and present information clearly.
- Read documents and presentations on electronic devices or in hard copy, and exchange accurate information in person, by phone, in writing, or electronically.
- Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations, interpersonal interactions, and client engagements.
- Drive to client sites or other business locations as required.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to take counts, measurements, or perform other tasks safely.
Job Type: Full-time, exempt
Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Hours/Availability: Daytime, Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule to support client appointments, business demands, and occasional weekend work, if needed.
Travel: Approximately 25%
