POSITION: Home Health Marketer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and case managers.
Promote the agency’s home health services to healthcare providers and community partners to generate patient referrals.
Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits with referral sources to present agency programs and services.
Educate healthcare providers and community partners about the agency’s clinical capabilities, specialties, and admission criteria.
Identify and develop new referral sources within the service area.
Track and manage referral pipeline and maintain accurate records of marketing activities.
Coordinate with the intake team to ensure smooth referral processing and patient admissions.
Monitor referral trends and provide marketing activity reports to agency leadership.
Participate in community outreach activities, healthcare events, and professional networking functions.
Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase census and expand market presence.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations, including Medicare and HIPAA guidelines.
Maintain knowledge of agency services, payer sources, and home health eligibility criteria.
Communicate referral feedback and market intelligence to leadership to improve services and competitiveness.
Support patient and family education regarding available home health services when appropriate.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and referral satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency growth and business development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or home health industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance related to marketing and patient privacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media and email marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working specifically in home health or post-acute care marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM software and marketing analytics tools.
- Certification in healthcare marketing or related professional development courses.
- Demonstrated success in building referral networks and community partnerships.
- Ability to create multimedia content such as videos or webinars to enhance marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the home health care industry and target demographics.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations to generate patient referrals.
- Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, digital content, and presentations that effectively communicate service offerings.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and patient feedback to continuously refine marketing approaches.
- Coordinate and participate in community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities to promote home health services.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
