FMS / CFSS Budget Worker at SERVICE MANAGEMENT GROUP INC – State-wide, Minnesota

Location: Minnesota (client’s home and community settings)
Employer: Participant/Representative (with Accra, LLC as FMS provider)

The DSP provides person-centered assistance to individuals receiving CFSS services under the Budget Model, supporting independence and community integration. The participant (or their representative) directs the DSP’s duties, while Accra, LLC serves as the Financial Management Services (FMS) provider for payroll and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental ADLs (IADLs) as outlined in the participant’s CFSS Support Plan.
• Support health-related tasks, mobility, transfers, and behavioral strategies per plan instructions.
• Promote skill-building, community participation, and independence.
• Follow participant-directed schedules and preferences while maintaining safety and dignity.
• Complete required documentation (time sheets, EVV entries) accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with the participant/representative regarding needs, goals, and changes.

**Please note that while the salary range is $20.00-$22.50/hr, this will depend on several variables and will ultimately be determined by the client's budget.**

Required Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older.
• Able to pass NETStudy 2.0 DHS background check and not appear on OIG exclusions.
• Completion of Minnesota-approved PCA/CFSS training within required timeframe.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in home/community settings.
• Physical ability to assist with transfers, lifting, and mobility support.

Employment Structure

• DSP is employed by the participant or their representative, not by Accra, LLC.
• Accra acts as the FMS provider, handling payroll, tax filings, and compliance with DHS requirements.
• DSP must adhere to participant’s policies and state regulations for CFSS services.

Work Environment

• Services are delivered in the participant’s home and community settings.
• May involve supporting individuals with complex medical or behavioral needs.
• Requires standing, lifting, and assisting throughout shifts.
