This role offers the opportunity to define and elevate the user experience of a leading AI-powered consumer platform that simplifies car ownership. As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead high-impact design initiatives across multiple products, shaping the look, feel, and functionality of features used by millions of users. You will own projects end-to-end, from research and concept through launch and iteration, while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams. The position requires a strong eye for UX and visual design, the ability to build scalable design systems, and the skills to influence product strategy through clarity, craft, and thoughtful design solutions. Your work will directly impact engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction across core product offerings. This is a fully remote role, working alongside a high-performing cross-functional team.
Accountabilities:- Lead design initiatives across core products including insurance, maintenance, safety, and mobility solutions.
- Ship 01 features that redefine the car ownership experience for everyday users.
- Partner with product, research, and data teams to translate insights into impactful, elegant, and frictionless designs.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency and visual excellence across products.
- Apply AI thoughtfully to enhance usability, personalization, and efficiency within the platform.
- Set standards for UX and visual design, raising the overall quality of experiences delivered.
- Advocate for user-centered design practices and contribute to defining the companys design vision and strategy.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of product design experience across web and mobile platforms, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and thoughtful UX.
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from research and concept through launch and iteration.
- Experience building and evolving design systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Bonus: experience in marketplaces, fintech, mobility, or insurance industries.
