As an Ophthalmic Technician supporting our telehealth screening site in Coos Bay, you will help deliver vision screening services directly to coastal communities. Your work plays an important role in identifying eye disease early and helping patients access specialized care when they need it most.
In this role, you will perform ophthalmic screening and imaging support while working closely with the Casey Eye Institute outreach and research teams. You will also help enroll and register screening participants in Epic, document screening results, and support coordination of outreach and research activities at the Coos Bay site.
Every screening you help conduct supports our mission to expand access to care and prevent vision loss for people who might otherwise go without services.
You will be part of the nationally recognized OHSU Casey Eye Institute, ranked in the top 10 percent of eye hospitals nationally by U.S. News & World Report. Our physicians and vision scientists work together to advance research and patient care that improves lives across the Pacific Northwest.
