About This Position

Description:

Sterile Services Co. (SSC) is currently hiring a Logistics Analyst III – Fielding Coordinator for our client at Fort Detrick, MD (Contingent upon job award) to support the Program Executive Office Soldier (PEOS), Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), Materiel Fielding and Medical Liaison Support Services. PM SMD consists of the following: provides Medical Materiel Support to all Army components facilitating optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness through; the procurement, assembly, and distribution of Medical Equipment and Medical Materiel Sets, Kits, Outfits (SKOs), the disassembly of previously fielded medical materiel and equipment, the management of excess medical materiel, the provision of disposition instructions, the management of on-hand medical materiel inventory, and the provision of technical assistance for medical materiel sustainment operations including training on Army automated logistics systems.

Requirements:

Logistics Analyst III will provide comprehensive medical logistics support to various Army units. Responsibilities are to provide Medical Logistics Assistance Support to Units in need to facilitate the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance to supported units while maintaining close coordination with PEO Soldier (PEOS), PM Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), and other Medical Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) liaison’s, local stakeholders, and local support agencies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support to PM-SMD Fielding Missions.
  • Interface with Fielding Commands to provide advice on fielding strategies and procedures. Prepare and present related briefings.
  • Plan and coordinate the movement of equipment packages to gaining unit locations.
  • Conduct on-site coordination with gaining commands/units to accomplish inventories of equipment packages and to accomplish transfer of assets.
  • Distribute and file all supporting fielding documentation in appropriate filing system directory.
  • Direct post-fielding follow-up to ensure that the gaining unit receives all items of equipment.
  • Execute all Materiel Fielding missions efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory guidance.
  • Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned..

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; knowledge of military logistics systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • 6+ years relevant experience; valid state driver's license
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, bending for extended periods of time
  • Experience in coordinating and managing medical materiel fielding missions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance required.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
  • Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
