SHIPPING OPERATOR at OnScent

Position Description: As a Shipping Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of all outgoing shipments. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in fragrance packaging and shipping processes.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Review customer orders for accuracy, verify product availability, and coordinate with production for timely fulfillment.

Package fragrance products safely, ensuring compliance with labeling, quality, and regulatory standards.

Track shipments, update inventory, and prepare necessary shipping documentation.

Communicate with internal teams and shipping carriers to resolve any shipping issues and keep stakeholders updated on delivery status.

Maintain a clean work area, follow safety protocols, and assist with inventory and material restocking as needed.

Provide backup support as required to receive incoming raw materials, packaging components, and other supplies. Ensure accurate inspect deliveries to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.

Document all received materials accurately and maintain detailed records of received materials, including packing slips and certificates of analysis.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with fragrance products and their handling requirements is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift and move heavy packages up to 50lbs and operate packaging machinery.

Proficient in Word, Excel and teams as well as using shipping software and inventory management systems required

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong safety focus and demonstrated teamwork
