If so, we want you on our team! We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Middle & High School Science or Math Teacher to join our faculty. In this role, you’ll create engaging, student-centered lessons that spark curiosity, develop analytical skills, and build confidence in STEAM subjects. You’ll work closely with fellow educators, administrators, and families to ensure that every student has the tools to succeed academically and beyond.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administers and develops subject specific assessments for the purpose of assessing student competency levels and/or developing individual learning plans.
  • Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations, student’s achievements, developing methods for improvement and reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment.
  • Assesses, differentiate, and tracks student progress towards objectives, expectations, and goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents, and administration.
  • Collaborates with instructional staff, other school personnel, parents, and a variety of community resources for purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes, achieving established classroom objectives in support of the school improvement plan.
  • Counsel students for the purpose of improving performance, health status, problem solving techniques and a variety of personal issues.
  • Instruct students for the purpose of improving their success in academics through a defined course of study.
  • Manages student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment.
  • Enforces uniform policy and appearance policy to ensure a school environment that focuses on group spiritual and academic achievement rather than on individuals.
  • Monitors students in a variety of educational environments (e.g., classrooms, school grounds, hallways, restrooms, field trips, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Prepares a variety of reports (e.g., grades, lesson plans following scope and sequence, correspondence with parents and students, examinations and quizzes, attendance, and anecdotal records) for the purpose of documenting student progress and meeting mandated requirements.
  • Make Learning Exciting – Develop and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that bring Science and Math concepts to life.
  • Assess & Support Student Growth – Design meaningful assessments, track progress, and provide targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with a Passionate Team – Work alongside fellow educators to create interdisciplinary connections and enhance student learning.
  • Inspire Future Innovators – Challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and explore real-world applications of STEM concepts.
  • Engage Families – Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed and involved in their child’s education.
  • Create a Positive Learning Environment – Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom where every student feels valued.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Science, Math, Education, or a related field (required).
  • A valid teaching license (preferred).
  • Subject-specific certification (for MS/HS levels, preferred).
  • Experience teaching middle or high school students (preferred).
  • A passion for engaging and challenging students in STEM subjects.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to fostering a growth mindset and lifelong love of learning.

Schedule

Sign in at 7:40 AM and sign out at 4:00 PM.

Monday to Friday – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30–minute scheduled break time.
