Job Summary

A Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Is the primary client contact, sets deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.

The Project Manager will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.

This position reports directly to the Construction Branch Manager and works closely with the Construction Operations Manager.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple and large projects
  • Manage more complex projects with multiple crews and subcontractors and an estimated Annual Revenue Production of $3-7mm
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Assesses and trains field talent and personnel
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to Construction Branch Manager as needed
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendor partners
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on employee’s individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on established budgets.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance teamwork and problem-solving
  • Can perform the duties of the Branch Safety Champion
Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in, or related field Certifications are preferred
  • A minimum of three years of field management is required

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to drive for short to long distances
  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be physically able to operate power equipment
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
