Director of Finance at Weathervane Senior Living – Wayne, Pennsylvania

Weathervane Senior Living is headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The Director of Finance is a hybrid position with regular travel to our communities in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

Director of Finance oversees all financial functions for the senior living management company and its four Pennsylvania communities. This role ensures fiscal responsibility, operational efficiency, financial transparency, and strategic guidance to support organizational growth and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analytics.

• Coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

• Supervise accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and internal controls.

• Ensure accurate and compliant billing. • Support audits, cost reports, and regulatory filings at the state and federal level.

• Advise the CEO and leadership team on financial risks, investment strategies, and cost saving opportunities.

• Implement systems (e.g., accounting software, dashboards) to increase financial transparency and efficiency.

• Manage facility-level financial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• 3+ years of finance leadership experience. Background in healthcare or real estate preferred.

• Experience with reimbursement models, cost reporting, and financial oversight of multiple entities.

• Proficiency in financial software and reporting platforms (e.g., Sage, Excel).

• Strong analytical and communication skills
