QBE is seeking a Information Security Analyst to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements, delivering technical, operational, and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates an organization's security system and networks.
• Conducts account responsibilities which include; system testing, password management, network/web application scanning, and threat detection (vulnerability, viruses, and intrusion).
• Utilizes security tools to enhance system authentication, breach protocols, and firewall/encryption audits.
• Translates and designs security requirements.
• Prepares status reports to develop security risk analysis scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 5+ years of DoD experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite
• Experience with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), and eMASS.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically.
• Ability to commute to the required work location daily.

Preferred certifications

DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, CND, or CySA+)
