Line Cook at Founders Brewing Co.

SUMMARY:

The Line Cook prepares and cooks a variety of dishes throughout the kitchen, contributes to assuring Founders’ high standards in the kitchen are met, and gives great customer service to patrons of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with prep work to maintain proper station readiness
Read food order slip or receive verbal instructions as to food requested by patron.
Prepare any food item assigned to your station adhering to company standards for preparation and presentation
Maintain line cleanliness and sanitation (includes cutting boards, floor, trash, slicer, equipment, etc.).
Treat customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect.
Maintain a safe work environment according to federal and state regulations.
Maintain a working knowledge of recipes and prepared foods.
Positively respond to direction and requests for assistance from co-workers, supervisors, managers, and guests.
Ability to work hand and hand in a tight proximity with other cooks, ensuring the best quality food.
Take initiative to help any area of the kitchen whenever possible.
Maintain composure and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with limited space.
Other duties as assigned.
