About This Position
Technical Change Management Lead
Nexxt Spine LLC, Noblesville, IN
Nexxt Spine LLC, Noblesville, IN
Nexxt Spine LLC, is a leader in the medical device industry, dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and distributing an expanding portfolio of innovative spinal implants and instruments. We are committed to a culture of innovation, excellence, and employee engagement while delivering solutions that improve patient outcomes and strengthen surgeon and distributor partnerships.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on, people-first leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. Nexxt Spine is building and deploying AI-powered automation and data tools across all operations, starting with asset recovery and expanding into distributor analytics, workflow automation, manufacturing optimization and enterprise integration. Technology is being developed. We need someone who can take these solutions from “idea generation” into "built" to "adopted" with the team.
This person will work directly with all facets and departments of the company including Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Accounting, Manufacturing, and IT Support to roll out new tools, train users, collect feedback, troubleshoot adoption issues, and communicate progress clearly back to executive leadership. This role is the bridge between leading the technical team building these systems and the people who use them every day.
This is not a software development role. It is about applying AI technology, Data Analytics and insight to improve performance and how people work.
Essential Job Functions
Adoption and Training
- Own the rollout of new tools and automations to internal teams.
- Lead hands-on training sessions, build quick-reference guides, and provide one-on-one support during transitions.
- Translate technical capabilities into simple, clear workflows that people can follow without confusion.
- Monitor adoption metrics and identify where people are struggling, then fix it before it becomes a complaint.
- Manage the transition from legacy spreadsheets and manual processes to new systems with minimal disruption.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement
- Be the voice of the end user back to the technical and executive teams.
- Spend real time with the various departments understanding their daily pain points and what is or is not working.
- Surface improvement ideas and practical feature requests grounded in how people use the tools, not theoretical wish lists.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of adoption issues, enhancement requests, and workflow gaps.
- Executive Communication and Reporting.
- Deliver concise weekly updates to leadership covering what shipped, what is working, what is not, and what is next.
- Provide input on roadmap prioritization based on what you are seeing on the ground.
- Translate operational insights into strategic recommendations. If a team is struggling with a tool, explain why and propose a path forward.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate testing with real users, document results, and sign off on readiness.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between technical teams, operations, and leadership during implementation cycles.
Trust Building and Change Leadership
- Help people trust the technology and see it as a tool that makes their jobs better, not harder.
- Be patient, be present, and be reliable. Show up consistently, follow through, and respect that change is hard.
- Celebrate wins. When a new automation saves someone 30 minutes a day, make sure the team and leadership know about it.
- Handle resistance with empathy. Understand that the team has been doing things a certain way for a long time, and your job is to earn their confidence, not force compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in change management, technology adoption, or operational transformation roles.
- Practical understanding of AI and automation technology. You do not need to build models, but you need to be able to explain what an AI agent does, why a workflow triggers the way it does, and how data flows through a system.
- Experience leading change management or technology adoption initiatives, ideally in an operations-heavy environment (manufacturing, logistics, medical devices, distribution, or similar).
- Strong communicator who adjusts naturally between talking with leadership and coaching a customer service rep through a new screen.
- Organized and dependable. When you say you will have something ready by Tuesday, it is ready by Tuesday.
- Bias toward simplicity. You would rather create a one-page guide than a 40-slide training deck.
- Comfortable working in an environment where you wear multiple hats and things move fast.
Nice to Have
- Consulting background, particularly in technology implementation, digital transformation, or operational improvement engagements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, or Microsoft 365 ecosystem tools.
- Background in medical devices, regulated industries, or quality management systems.
- Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or workflow automation platforms
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or formal change management certification
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. What matters most is demonstrated ability to drive technological adoption and lead people through change.
