About This Position
Description:
The Deployment Manager oversees daily operations of the Deployment team, ensuring efficient workflows, high service quality, and cross-functional alignment. This role leads team performance, manages escalations, maintains operational systems and inventory controls, and drives continuous process improvement across deployment functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead daily deployment operations, proactively resolving complex requests and managing internal and external escalations.
- Ensure alignment across Sales, Product, and Deployment teams on offerings, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Oversee physical inventory management across all Fortis locations and coordinate with key vendors and strategic partners to ensure accurate forecasting, ordering, and fulfillment.
- Maintain accuracy of reporting and inventory systems to support operational visibility and control.
- Manage and ensure operational continuity across core deployment systems and platforms (shipping, gateways, POS platforms, and internal tools).
- Partner with Finance and Sales leadership to develop and maintain equipment forecasting models.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to support inventory availability, logistics, and deployment efficiency.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training initiatives, maintaining comprehensive documentation and wiki resources.
- Drive process improvements, monitor team performance, and implement operational adjustments to meet company and departmental goals.
- Foster a high-performance team culture through accountability, professionalism, and collaborative problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Experience with payment processing systems and familiarity with inventory management and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and drive data-informed operational improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects end to end, from problem framing and executive-ready presentations to driving cross-functional execution.
