The J7 requires assessments to ensure J7 is executing the NORAD and USNORTHCOM campaigns, assess readiness, and align with DoD JFDD efforts. Qualified candidates currently living in a HubZone designated area are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

- Apply standardized, rigorous, structured methodologies to create and validate a physical, mathematical, or otherwise logical representation of a system, entity, phenomenon, or process.
- Incorporate the use of models (e.g. emulators, prototypes, simulations, simulators, and stimulators), either statically or over time, to develop data as a basis for making managerial, technical, strategic, or tactical decisions.
- Apply engineering and/or analytical disciplines required to analyze real world operational lessons learned data resulting in recommended changes to command programs to mitigate identified shortfalls.
- Identify, assess, experiment, and test solutions across the studies and recommendations.
- Develop and provide analysis and assessments to evaluate the J7 OAEI’s contributions to the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Campaigns. The contractor shall ensure these reports and visualizations are integrated with digital transformation initiatives and other innovation efforts within the Command and across DoD.
Qualifications:
- Shall have a minimum of a master’s degree in an analytical field of study (e.g., Operations Research, Operations Analysis, Operational Analysis, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics) or ten (10) years of directly related experience; proven experience and expertise with joint military operations at the operational and strategic levels.
