About This Position

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Outside Sales Representative, preferrable with a strong foundation in electrical engineering to drive business growth and build lasting client relationships. This role is with one of the fastest-growing industrial electrical service contractors in the nation, known for delivering high-quality transformer maintenance, electrical testing, electrical construction and distribution system solutions.

Pay: $90-120 plus commission

Schedule: M-F (8 am – 5 pm)

Location: HQ is in Tampa, FL. Local and national travel, 80% of travel is within FL

Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representative:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular field visits and consultations.
  2. Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions for electrical services and products.
  3. Prepare and present professional proposals, quotes, and scopes of work during client meetings.
  4. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of solutions.
  5. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sale support.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to position EEE as a trusted partner.
  7. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to expand market presence.

Qualifications for Outside Sales Representative:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
  2. Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  3. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  5. Self-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
