About This Position
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Indianapolis, IN or San Antonio, TX
Position Summary - Sanctuary Wealth is seeking an Operations Specialist. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day operations of the firm, as well as deliver on firmwide initiatives for development of processes in direct support of the accelerated growth of Sanctuary. The Operations Specialist will have a close working relationship with the Supervision and Compliance Departments to ensure efficient execution on all deliverables for Sanctuary Wealth.
The ideal candidate will be prepared to join an innovative and growing team in the financial services industry. This person will assist Sanctuary partner firms with reviewing and approval of asset movement, account transfer support, standing and periodic instruction approval, and client reimbursement processing.
Responsibilities
To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
· Review and approval of asset movement, account transfer support, standing and periodic instruction approval, and client reimbursement processing.
· Interact effectively as liaison between Financial Professionals and internal departments.
· Ensure all department work is processed with accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
· Implement and train others on processes and procedures when needed
· Accurately track and document actions taken on accounts
· Retain knowledge of several systems and processing guidelines
· Assist with implementation of new tools or systems as necessary
· Lead/assist with large department projects as necessary
· Cross train as required to support back-office operations initiatives
Requirements:Ideal Candidate Profile
The following skills and abilities are required to perform this job successfully:
· Experience with operational platforms such as Schwab, Pershing, and Fidelity
· Experience in the independent financial services space
· Experience with Transfers: ACAT, non-ACAT, Direct Mutual Funds transfers, Market Deliveries
· Positive Attitude
· Excellent work ethic
· Team player
· Willingness to learn and complete various functions within Operations as assigned
· Accountable
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Willingness to complete various functions as assigned within Operations
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Microsoft proficient
Education - Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience required.
Licenses - FINRA Licensed SIE, 7, 66 or 63 (or willingness to attain) preferred
Base Salary Range – $65,000 – 75,000 + Annual Bonus %
