Stanley Consultants is seeking a Project Coordinator to be based on site with our U.S. Air Force client at Misawa AB, Japan. While on site, you will be part of our Program Management Team supporting the ongoing F-35 Beddown by serving as our primary focal point for project activity and schedule integration.
- Act as primary focal point for project activity and schedule coordination
- Coordinate and deconflict construction activities and schedules in conjunction with our project managers
- Assist with project control actions (e.g. development of project schedules, management of RFIs and Change requests)
- Assist with administrative tasks (e.g., estimated budgets, scope statements and projects plans)
- Monitor and ensure supporting resource availability for the project team (e.g. security escorts, laydown areas, haul routes)
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Assist our project managers in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans
- Provide guidance and insight, suggest opportunities and potential solutions to deconflict competing projects, with due consideration of mission priorities
- Proactively communicate risk, and potential conflict events to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of maintaining project milestones and deliverables
- Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing access permits, work permit requests and other supporting work-related documents
- Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what’s needed at the right time
- Be the liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the project life cycle
- Help project managers monitor project progress and team members’ performance and provide updates to project stakeholders
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports
- Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce quality deliverables
- Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Good communication and presentational skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse and multi-discipline team
- Ability to work in a diverse and multidiscipline team
- Preferred to have familiarity with Federal construction contracts
- Must be a US Citizen or US National
