Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an HR Compliance Analyst in Green Bay to research and understand employment and labor legislation, and ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws. The HR Compliance Analyst will also propose and develop solutions to ensure compliance in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations through interviewing, gathering data and creating documentation.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR and other leaders throughout the investigation process.
- Research and publish minimum wage data to internal parties.
- Lead Schneider's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act training program for the enterprise.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders regarding hiring, retention and transfer of foreign nationals for temporary and permanent assignments in and out of the United States.
- Execute processes required by immigration laws and respond to legal agency inquiries.
- Track program metrics and hold leaders accountable for the completion of requirements.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, leadership or a related field.
- 2-4 years of employment law compliance, human resources or related work experience.
- Experience with using internal and external systems and databases to conduct research and generate reports.
- Knowledge of HR and employment laws.
- Knowledge of compliance issues related to immigration, workplace harassment and anti-discrimination laws.
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and state and local employment laws.
- Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.
- Stong attention to detail.
