Instrumentation Technician (Gas) at Sparus Holdings – Atlanta, Georgia

As a Instrumentation Technician you will support the repair, calibration, and certification of gas detection instruments. This role is critical to Sparus’ Authorized Service & Repair Center operations and includes advanced diagnostics, quality compliance, and technical leadership.

• Peachtree Corners, GA (On-Site)

• Service & Repair Manager

• Advanced repair, reprogramming, and calibration of portable gas detectors
• Certified calibration using approved gases and fixtures
• Troubleshooting electrical, sensor, mechanical, and firmware issues
• Speaking with customers to diagnose, repair and program instruments
• Maintain OEM compliant documentation and traceability
• Mentor junior technicians and support audits

• 5+ years repairing/calibrating gas detection or electronic instruments
• Strong electronics troubleshooting background
• Experience with calibration standards and gases
• High attention to detail and documentation

• Prior gas detection instrument experience
• Electronics repair certifications and training
• Lean service or Kanban familiarity

• Bench-based technical environment with ESD controls.
• Regular handling of small mechanical and electronic components.
• Occasional lifting to 30 lbs.
• Use of calibration gases and test chambers in controlled conditions.

Rate of Pay

• $25.00 - $30.00 (depending on experience)
