The Standard is a leading organization in Retirement Plan Record Keeping, committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients. Our Data and Analytics team plays a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategies and enhancing client engagement through data-driven insights.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytically minded intern, preferably in their senior year of College or currently enrolled in an MBA program, to join Retirement Plan Sales Data and Analytics team for the summer. This individual will be instrumental in conducting deep analysis of sales activity data and enhancing our understanding of attribution to optimize sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, measuring, organizing, and analyzing data to support sales strategy.
  • Work with SQL and Python to manage and extract insights from datasets.
  • Support database design, development, data models, and segmentation efforts.
  • Use statistical tools (Excel, Power BI, or other relevant software) to conduct analysis.
  • Assist in building data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Analyze and interpret Salesforce CRM data to generate actionable insights.
  • Help with query writing, report creation, and presentations.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data reporting.
  • Work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Science and Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data mining, evaluation, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or other analytic tools.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with data visualization platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Ability to work as a team or independently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $20.50 - $23.75/hour
  • Fully remote, full-time (40 hours/week), 10-to-12-week paid internship, formal orientation and onboarding.
  • Up to three days of paid time off, plus paid holidays.

Salary Range:

$20.50 - $23.75 depending on year in school
