Facilities Engineer at ZALORA SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE LTD

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lifts, and conveyors. The role involves ensuring the seamless functioning of these systems, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and optimizing energy consumption to improve facility performance. The Facilities Engineer will collaborate with contractors, vendors, and facility management teams to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards while providing technical support to ensure the safety and comfort of facility occupants. This position reports directly to the Associate Manager - Facilities Management and is based in Muntinlupa with a daily onsite work setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lift maintenance, and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and schedule repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance services.
• Manage in-house facilities contractors.
• Coordinate with Associate Manager - Facilities Management and building owner for any facility-related matters.
• Monitor and optimize energy consumption.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and energy usage.
• Provide technical support to facility management and occupants.
• Assist in monitoring safety programs to ensure resident and property safety.
• Implement energy conservation and cost-saving measures.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned.
