• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings.
• Maintain an organized waiting area and communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating arrangements and timely service.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about reservations or restaurant policies.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring every visitor feels valued and appreciated.

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, highlighting guest services expertise.
