Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician with expertise in TIG welding to join our team during this exciting phase of growth. Key Responsibilities
• Precision TIG Welding: Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, titanium, and other materials to fabricate custom exhaust systems and components.
• Fabrication & Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to fabricate components to exact specifications.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle fabrication challenges and develop creative solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Fabrication Team to ensure smooth operations, mutual support, and a positive work atmosphere.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect welds and finished products to uphold Valvetronic Designs’ rigorous standards of craftsmanship.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize fabrication tools and machinery for peak performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Share ideas to improve production processes and product designs, helping the company maintain its competitive edge.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of TIG welding experience, preferably working with stainless steel and thin materials.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Proven ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Team-Oriented: Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to creating a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to producing clean, precise welds and high-quality finished products.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and thrive in a dynamic production environment.
