About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, systems-minded individual to lead a data standardization initiative designed to merge customer information across multiple platforms following regular company acquisitions. The goal of this on-going project is to ensure customer names, numbers, and accounts are consistent across all systems so that reporting is accurate and reliable for the entire organization.

This role will not only own the ongoing cleanup, alignment, and maintenance of customer data, but will also have the opportunity to build or implement automation and tools to increase efficiency and shorten manual effort. The ideal candidate is someone who can complete the project with innovation and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, compare, and standardize customer data across multiple systems (ServiceTrade, ZoHo, Viewpoint, and Microsoft Excel/Office Suite)
  • Create a unified, accurate list of customer names, numbers, and identifiers to ensure reporting integrity
  • Maintain ongoing updates as new customers are added or modified to ensure long-term consistency and alignment
  • Develop processes, workflows, or automation (Excel, macros, AI tooling, scripts, etc.) to streamline future data sync and maintenance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Sales, IT) to understand reporting needs and ensure data is optimized for downstream use
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and drive resolution with appropriate teams
  • Document processes and develop training/reference materials for internal use

Required
  • Experience working with customer or financial data, ideally within SaaS, service, construction, or field-service environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data tools, formulas); comfort working with large datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accuracy at scale
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and drive work forward without daily oversight

Preferred
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms: ServiceTrade, ZoHo, Viewpoint
What Success Looks Like
  • Customer data across systems is standardized and continuously accurate
  • Reporting is fully reliable and requires minimal manual cleanup
  • A repeatable automated process exists for future customer data maintenance
