Job Description

BeVera Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to support a federal public health contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Deputy Project Manager will support oversight of day-to-day contract operations, assist in managing multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure high-quality execution of all task order requirements. This role supports project planning, staffing oversight, financial tracking, quality assurance, and client relationship management within a federal contracting environment.

NOTE: Position contingent upon award of contract. This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract.

Requirements:
  • Perform day-to-day management of contract support operations, which may involve multiple tasks and teams across locations.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to project team members.
  • Review and ensure quality of all work products prior to submission.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee staffing, workload distribution, and personnel supervision.
  • Monitor project financials, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Serve as the primary client interface at the COR level.
  • Assist the Program Manager in managing overall contract performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and organizational standards.

Educational and Experience Qualifications

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements for successful performance under the anticipated contract.

  • Master’s degree in a related field or relevant professional certification.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing federal contracts or complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing project financials and staffing.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting environments and task order execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships within a federal agency setting.
