Custodian TN at JOST International Corp – Greeneville, Tennessee

CUSTODIAN – Performs functions associated with cleaning areas of the building and upkeep of grounds surrounding JOST International.

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Facility/Maintenance Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) cleaning front office areas, pods and bathrooms.

b) cleaning shop floor, bathrooms, break room and employee entrance.

c) Running sweeper and empty the trash.

d) General upkeep of facility grounds.

e) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

a) Perform all aspects of cleaning.

b) Prior experience and/or knowledge of lawn equipment and operation helpful.

c) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is generally performed in a production/warehouse/office/facilities environment 100% of time.

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
