Lead Software Engineer (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create exceptional software products that redefine the Commercial Real Estate industry. Youll collaborate with product teams to build high-quality backend and frontend features while scaling both our codebase and the engineering organization. Your ability to navigate complex technical challenges will be crucial, as will your impact on unblocking others and optimizing workflows within the team.
Accountabilities- Build and launch excellent software by understanding customer needs and engineering elegant solutions.
- Make sound technical and architectural decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate enterprise needs into scalable solutions.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture by mentoring junior engineers and conducting thorough code reviews.
- Establish standards for code quality, testing, and technical decision-making.
- 5+ years of product software development experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React, with an emphasis on backend development.
- Ability to own complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong technical judgment with clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor through problem-solving.
