• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Employment Type: Seasonal (from hire date through the end of October)
• Potential for Full-Time: This is a seasonal role; however, candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, attendance, and a positive attitude may be considered for future full-time opportunities with our Facilities Maintenance team as openings become available.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Landscaper / Grounds Worker, you will assist our Facilities Maintenance team in the upkeep and beautification of the entire Summit Point facility. Working as part of a team, you will operate landscaping equipment and perform a variety of groundskeeping tasks to keep our property safe, functional, and visually appealing.

This role is physically demanding and requires individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
• Sweep, rake, and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including weed eaters, trimmers, mowers, leaf blowers, and other hand tools.
• Lawn mowers may be used after sufficient training and demonstrated proficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of landscaping storage areas and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly
• Perform repetitive outdoor tasks for extended periods
• Work safely with landscaping equipment and tools

Work is primarily outdoors in varying conditions, including sun, heat, rain, wind, and cold temperatures. Proper protective gear, hydration, and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience with mowing, trimming, and weed eating required
• Familiarity with basic equipment maintenance and safe operation of landscaping machinery
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality standards
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 100 lbs., and standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
