Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Payer Solutions Architect in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of healthcare technology, payer systems, and large-scale SaaS implementation, supporting the rollout of complex state and payer solutions within a connected home and community-based care ecosystem. You will act as a key technical and strategic bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that implementations are consistent, scalable, and aligned with both customer needs and product strategy. The position requires strong technical expertise, exceptional coordination skills, and a deep understanding of payer and provider workflows in regulated healthcare environments. You will play a critical role in removing implementation barriers, improving delivery processes, and ensuring successful go-lives across multiple stakeholders. Working closely with sales, product, customer success, and implementation teams, you will help shape how solutions are deployed and adopted at scale. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys translating strategy into execution.
- Lead coordination and solution expertise across payer and state implementation workstreams, ensuring alignment between technical design and customer requirements.
- Define and maintain standard configurations for payer, state, and sponsored portal environments while identifying where market-specific variability is required.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, product, implementation, and customer success to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Support pre-implementation activities by reviewing requirements, identifying risks, and ensuring readiness for successful handoffs.
- Improve internal processes related to discovery, testing, deployment, and go-live execution for payer and state solutions.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in client meetings, providing guidance on solution design and implementation decisions.
- Contribute to CMS and federal certification activities, including documentation, evidence gathering, and system demonstrations.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines, proactively managing communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis to document best practices, identify gaps, and support product and process improvements.
- Develop technical documentation such as workflows, SOPs, and implementation guides to support scalable delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technology implementations, ideally within healthcare SaaS or payer/provider environments.
- Strong understanding of SaaS implementation models, particularly in Medicaid, home care, or payer-driven ecosystems.
- Experience designing, configuring, or supporting enterprise-scale solution implementations.
- Proven ability to build repeatable processes, manage risk, and drive operational excellence.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and configuration logic.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project coordination and problem-solving abilities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Interest in improving healthcare delivery through technology and innovation.
- Competitive base salary ranging from 90,000 USD to 110,000 USD annually, plus variable compensation.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
- Paid time off and company-paid holidays.
- Hybrid work arrangement with onsite collaboration requirements in designated metro areas.
- Professional development and growth opportunities in healthcare technology.
- Exposure to large-scale payer and state healthcare implementations with real-world impact.
- Inclusive and mission-driven work environment focused on improving healthcare outcomes.
